PRODUCT MANAGER

Description

This position will be responsible for supervising and managing the process of product development which includes design, branding, marketing and packaging of picture frames, framed art and wall décor.  The Product Manager will develop, direct and mentor the product team in order to guide development execution and establish brand strategy.  To ensure assigned product development and design is executed with commercial appeal, functionality, competitively priced, brand correct and within established target margins, the Product Manager will partner with sales, marketing and customers.  This position will be expected to originate and/or develop designs for products relating to defined customer needs or possible proprietary items.  This may also include the adaptation of existing designs to new customer applications.  In addition to planning and directing construction of prototypes to meet customers and internal requirements, he/she will be responsible of establishing test requirements, if not previously specified by the customer, and developing and directing the testing of new-product prototypes to verify product reliability.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required with 5+ years experience with consumer product merchandise.  A successful candidate will have design experience with a consumer product company; preferable designing for non-licensed products.  Experience with designing frames, framed art and wall décor a plus.  Must have experience in product development and project management, in addition to, familiarity with a variety of manufacturing processes material selection and product testing.   A qualified candidate will have supervisory experience and will be expected to manage team projects to ensure product line development specifications are delivered.  Overseas travel required.

 

DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING

Description

This position will be responsible for supervising all manufacturing activities at the operational level to achieve effective and efficient use of facilities and personnel, as well as, conformance to schedules and budgets.  The Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for the implementation of all products, as well as, managing a supervisory team in a multi-shift operation.  This position will be in charge of directing major facilities development, and coordinating and monitoring plans for reductions in cost and product lead times for existing and new products.  An eligible candidate will be able to successfully monitor all production reports to ensure achievement of financial, safety, quality and on-time delivery goals, in addition to, overseeing the health and safety of the team in order to comply with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required with 10+ years experience in manufacturing management.  The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate team efforts to achieve company goals.  The skill in managing a maintenance and production team to insure all equipment is operational and complies with all safety regulations is highly valued.  Must have the ability to organize the management talent base for efficient operations including, promoting opportunities for management to upgrade skills through training sessions and seminars.  The Director of Manufacturing will report to the Chief Operations Officer on a regular basis and work closely with that officer and the CEO to establish long-range operating goals and expansion.

 

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Timeless Frames has an immediate opening for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the companies Watertown facility.  Candidate needs at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Calibrate, troubleshoot and repair all mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment while performing preventative maintenance as needed. 
  • Perform minor electrical repairs and component replacements, including electrical motor replacements and fuse/switch replacements
  • Conduct parts and supplies research and requests while keeping supervisor and team abreast of equipment status and operational improvement plans
  • This position places a heavy emphasis on maintaining proper safety while ensuring limited equipment downtime and initiating preventative maintenance and may lead to supervisor management position. 

 

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

The Network Administrator is responsible for the day to day support of our data centers and internal network requirements. This includes firewalls, Server 2003 (active directory); SQL server; Backup Exec; Macola Progression; telephony system. Ability to work under pressure to meet requirements and continue production while meeting the needs of the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

The following are the minimum requirements for this position.

3-5 years of experience as a Network Administrator that include all of the following as your knowledge base and daily responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge of layer 2/3 networking concepts
Familiarity with server load balancing for web and non-web based
Server 2003
Firewall configuration and policy management.
VPN configuration.
DNS and DHCP
Server load Balancing equipment.
LAN design and routing techniques
Willingness to work off-hours maintenance windows as required
Appreciation of production environment in a 24/7 business
Network security techniques

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues for team members and management staff

The following will enhance the applicant's candidacy:
Sonicwall Firewalls
Configuration of Nortel telephony systems
Demonstrated experience with network security techniques
Windows Server Administration

Macola Progression – Accounting

Disaster recovery and backup

2-4 year degree required

 

 

Positions available with the Timeless Frames Production Team:

-Immediate position available for a full time Joiner.  Hours 40+ per week.  An integral part of the manufacturing process; individual must be mechanically inclined, flexible, fast paced, and precise. Individual must be highly detail oriented, quality driven and have a sense of responsibility towards the products being handled.

-Immediate position available for a full time Fitter.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual responsible for final assembly of products.  Organizational skills a must. Individual must be highly detail oriented, quality driven and have a sense of responsibility towards the products being handled.

-Immediate position available for a full time Saw Operator.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual must be able to operate a mitre saw and effectively read a tape measure. Individual must be highly detail oriented, quality driven and have a sense of responsibility towards the products being handled.

-Immediate position available for a full time Packing Line Operator.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual will be working multiple tasks to complete final product packaging.  Efficiency, flexibility and the ability to repeatedly lift 20 lbs is required.

 

Positions available with the Timeless Décor Custom Framing Production Team:

-Immediate position available for a full time Joiner.  Hours 40+ per week.  An integral part of the manufacturing process; individual must be mechanically inclined, flexible, fast paced, and precise.

-Immediate position available for a full time Mounting/Fitting.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual responsible for assembling artwork into the final frame package and inspecting for perfect quality.   Organizational skills and quality control required for the position.

-Immediate position available for a full time Saw Operator.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual must be able to operate a mitre saw, effectively read a tape measure and be quality focused.

-Immediate position available for a full time Computerized Matte Cutter/Sizing.  Hours 40+ per week.  Individual will operate the CMC hand operated sizing station to cut mattes, foam board and glass to specific size.

-Immediate position available for a full time Material Handler.  Hours 40+ per week.  An integral part of the manufacturing process; individual must be mechanically inclined, flexible, fast paced, and precise. Individual will be responsible for placing material into appropriate storage areas, pulling material for job orders and moving between production stations. Ability to read and repetitively lift 30 pounds required.
