• 8"x10" Unfinished Collectibles Shadow Box
• 5- 2”x1/4” wooden star shapes
• 5- 2”x1/4” wooden heart shapes
• 1 ¼” cording or ribbon
• ½’ double sided Velcro
• Red Paint
• Blue Paint
• Glue

instructions

1. Remove glass, insert, and backing from shadow box
2. Paint the unfinished shadow box blue
3. Paint 5 stars blue
4. Paint 5 hearts blue
5. Cut two 8” lengths of ribbon and two 10” lengths of ribbon
6. Glue the two pieces of 10” ribbon vertically along the length of the insert at equal distances from each other
7. Glue the two pieces of 8” ribbon horizontally along with width of the insert, gluing directly over the vertical pieces and at equal distances from each other. You should now have 9 defined squares for your tic-tac-toe board.
8. Cut Velcro into 10 squares able to fit on the back of the wooden game pieces.  Attach the rough side to the center of each square on the insert and the smooth side to the center of the back of each game piece
9. Place the 10th velcro square at the top of the shadow box to hold your extra playing piece
10. Arrange pieces any way you prefer and display your finished project until playing time!
